Our mission

Clean Sea Solutions was established with the vision of creating commercially and environmentally sustainable ocean technology solutions for waterfront areas. Our aim is to mitigate the influx of marine plastic waste into the oceans, thus contributing to the preservation of the world's oceans.

We collaborate with leading industrial partners in maritime industries and autonomy to develop cutting-edge stationary and autonomous systems for the collection of plastic waste from canals, rivers, harbors, marinas, lakes, and other waterfront areas both above and below the water surface. Our innovative solutions embody our commitment to addressing one of the pressing environmental challenges of our time.

Marine polution is the fastest growing environmental problem in the world.

UN has described marine pollution as the fastest growing environmental problem in the world. Between 4,8 and 12,7 million tons of plastic waste currently enters the ocean every year, the equivalent of a truckload every minute throughout the year.

When the plastic waste reaches the seas, up to 94 percent (WWF, 2018) will sink to the seabed and over a longer period of time break down to micro-plastic particles. It is therefore essential to take measures to prevent the inflow of plastic waste before it reaches the open oceans. Clean Sea Solutions designs solutions for this purpose specifically.
